Dr. John Grandizio is originally from a small suburb of Philadelphia in Delaware County, PA. He completed high school and undergraduate education in Southern New Jersey. From there, he went to the elite Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he received his doctorate degree in 1994. Upon graduating summa cum laude, he was elected into the International Chiropractic Honor Society.
Dr. Grandizio returned to Delaware County and Philadelphia where he practiced chiropractic for 4 years. He relocated to Lancaster County in 1999 in the town of Willow Street, PA where he currently practices and resides. While Willow Green Chiropractic is his main office, Dr. Grandizio maintains a small satellite office in Strasburg (Strasburg Chiropractic). He uses Palmer diversified techniques (full spine adjustments) and extremity manipulation. He is also licensed to perform adjunctive procedures such as deep tissue therapy and the other types of physiotherapy mentioned on this website. In addition to teaching his patients about proper motion, alignment, and strength of the human body, Dr. Grandizio provides nutritional advice for his patients' overall wellness. He has a passion for reducing and eliminating pain while improving his patients’ lifestyles so they can enjoy their hobbies, sports, job duties and other activities of daily living. In addition to full time practice, Dr. Grandizio is an adjunct professor at Penn State University. He teaches Human Biology at the Berks Campus, as well as Anatomy & Physiology in the Penn State Nursing Degree program.
